Sales Representative

Ambrose is currently seeking a Sales Representative to manage our Western Massachusetts territory. This position will report directly to the Sales Manager.

Job Duties include:

  • Make regular customer visits and calls
  • Prepare and follow up on customer quotes
  • Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their business needs
  • Consistently make good scheduling decisions by visiting customers throughout the territory
  • Grow and manage the territory by maintaining quality and long-term relationships with the customers
  • Motivated to learn and know all equipment we sell
  • Provide start ups to customers when they take possession of equipment purchased
  • Provide feedback reports to the Sales Manager regarding potential sales and customer visits
  • Negotiate pricing of products to customers

Qualifications:

  • Self-organized with a positive attitude
  • Experience within the paving equipment industry desired
  • Knowledge of CDK Software, a plus but not necessary to obtain job
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written
  • Computer proficient
  • Valid Driver’s License and driving record required

Heavy Equipment Technician

Ambrose Equipment is one of the largest paving equipment dealerships in New England. We are currently seeking an experienced technician to work in our Hooksett, NH and Plainville, MA locations. This position will report directly to the Service Manager.

Job Duties include:

  • Diagnose malfunctions, recommend and perform appropriate repairs
  • Perform work as described on repair order with efficiency and accuracy
  • Document all work performed
  • Any additional work assigned by the Service Manager

Qualifications:

  • Valid Drivers License and clean driving record
  • Must have strong hydraulic and electrical experience
  • Positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and attention to detail are essential
  • Must have own tools

Heavy Equipment Road Technician

We are currently seeking an experienced road technician to work out of our Hooksett, NH and Plainville, MA locations. This position will report directly to the Service Manager.

Job Duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Diagnose malfunctions, recommend and perform appropriate repairs
  • Perform work as described on repair order with efficiency and accuracy
  • Document all work performed
  • Travel to clients’ locations to perform troubleshooting and repairs (Company vehicle will be provided)

Qualifications:

  • Valid Drivers License and clean driving record
  • CDL is a plus but not required
  • Must have strong hydraulic and electrical experience
  • Positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and attention to detail are essential
  • Ability to interface with customers
  • Must have own tools
